VOP

ARGHHHHHHH! MY FEET ARE SOOOO DYING!  Lol, VOP was kinda cool i guess. Hafta thank Emmeline, David C. and the rest who plan and run the event. Hmm, started of sat morning with kayaking. Here, most of us meet da V1’s. Kayaking was great. Been a long time since i kayak. One of the best thing is lunch time. We ate lunch on kayaks and it was pretty interesting. Lol, other than that, we paddled to singapore river from kallang. Distance was pretty short so its not really tiring. After dat, head back to sch and did stuff and finally to the last event, overnight hike. Lol, hiking rocks. Been an even longer time since i last hike. When was it, i think in sec 3. We were seperated to two grps, with a mixture of V1’s and V2’s in each grp. The V1’s in the group i was great. They were not that confident in reading the map to look for the checkpoint at first but as time passes, they got the hang of it after Kenneth taught em at the first checkpoint. Lol, and they never once complain about tiredness and stuff. Hopefully, all 4 of em will stay. Ahaha, reach the final destination, Sentosa, at 6.00am and made it in time for sunrise. All in all, i had a great time.

Lame Joke

What’s a bubble tea? Well, its tea with bubbles of course! And how do u get it? Simple, blow bubbles into the tea! Lol, just a lame joke i made cause Naing doesn’t know what bubble tea is. At least that woke up the whole class XD

Second Week of school

The second week of sch. Started with object-oriented programming. Quite ok at first but as it proceeds, it gets more confusing. Then, there was a 3hr break. Reason: There was no Industrial Design class today cause we can just do our own research. Shiok sia the module. Ahaha, Naing also have no class as his marketing class got cancelled so both of us sat at the elp n rot (not really rotting) Lol, at the end of the day, there was kendo. Revised with the juniors what they learnt on friday and also thought them new things. For example, how to draw the sword, Fumi Komi(leaping forward?) etc. Wah, then i shout the directions for the hashi until cannot tahan. Since we were training at all 4 squash courts and everyone was grouped, the amount of noise is deafening. And today had the chance to keiko with Suresh (Darth Vader XP lol, jkjk) Ahaha, he’s our instructor. Never fought with him for so long. Shiok sia XP Must ask all those who never keiko with him before to keiko with him. Hmm, people like Tiang Peng, Wei Jie, Jiaying and many more……..

Kendo Orientation

For the past week, i’m been hungry once too many. Hehe, what to do but eat, eat, eat ^^ Lol, yesterday was kendo orientation. The number that turn up was abt 120(got the no. from selina’s blog XP) Still remember when my batch first join kendo. I wasn’t very enthusiastic at first cause i was dragged by someone. Well, as time passes, i got to enjoy kendo more and made many good friends. Hopefully, we can retain the juniors and not let it be like my batch where a lot of ppl has left. Ahaha, the group that i was with yesterday, a lot were shy at first but as soon as they hold the shinai, all the questions start coming in. One even asked me if we join tourney’s and stuff but had no time to tell him more as they had to line up. Lol, keiko (sparring) was quite cool yesterday. Finally got to fight against yixin, then i fought nabil, lishen and yuyan. Yixin ki-i (battle cry?) was rather unique but the most memorable battle yesterday was with nabil. Reason: Both of us charged in but since he is lot bigger, i got flung back. And if landing on my butt wasn’t enough, he men (cut to the head) me when i was on the floor and did it again when i was getting up. Lol, that didn’t dampened my spirit so i just got back and resume fighting.

Club Crawl End

Feeling sooooo shagged. Lol, maybe its cos of club crawl. Walk around non-stop XP Ahaha, anyways its over and we managed to get 217 people. Manage to hit our target of 200 so now we have to try to keep most of the juniors. Quite a number of things learnt when doing the club crawl and hopefully, next year we’ll do a better one. Lol, today is da first time the exco meeting ended early. Normally we tend to overshoot but today was different. Ahhhh! Cannot tahan. I think i go and sleep now!

Crawl to the Club and Night Classes!

ARGHHHHHHHH!!! Lol, finally got back my internet connection. Now can go about doing my stuff. The day for club crawl is finally here. Came to sch at 9.30am to find out that suresh and jasmine are the only ones there. So we waited for da rest. In the meantime, jas showed us the fast forward version(either the dvd or her wmp is to be blamed) of their youth tourney battles. It was so freaking hilarious. The judge looks like he is dancing or like what suresh say, he look like those ppl controlling air traffic(cos the judge is carrying two small flags). After everyone came, we decided to change our demo plans cause we feared that there is not enough time. So at the demo, i demonstrated the basic cuts and the other 3 pairs keiko(spar) with each other. After demo, i help out at the club crawl(you know, the usual stuff such as distributing flyers etc.) b4 going to class. Lab was pretty ok as me n peixian manage to complete it although i was half an hour late for it. Ah! Then, there was night class. Lol, my first night class. I was so freaking tired that my eyes were only half open but still manage to listen to the teach. The teach is a very friendly person and we get along well with him. Lucky for us or else night class will be a chore.

Booth to completion!

Ahaha, finally! The booth is on the way to completion. Now we have to paint and stuff and set up the thing properly so hopefully, will be able to finish by tomorrow. Hmm, now must think of how the background needs to be done. Lol, also bought my school books and they cost $27 and we all thought its about $100 XP Some subjects look interesting but some are… Oh well, we’ll see how this semester goes (also got our first night class)

End of Camp

Came back from camp yesterday. Was practically tired that i slept till 11am today. Lol, friday’s training was quite ok. We were so used to the ‘harsh’ training that its like nothing for us. Everybody was able to do 150 hayasuburies and last time, we were already tired when we stopped at 30. All and all, the camp was kinda worth it as we learn all kinds of things and stuff and the bond between our batch increases as there is not as many of us left. Now, must concentrate on the next task ahead, Club Crawl!

Kendo Camp

Its the second day of the camp. The first day we didnt really do much, in fact there wasn’t any training at all. However we learn a few things including shinai mantainence and a need to have a sense of urgency (lol, scouts all over again!) Slept quite late yesterday(in reality, today) but the sleep was way better than last year’s camp. Today, woke up at 6, ‘finish up’ on our shinai and then proceed to wear our gi and hakama. Then training(more like warming up, just think of morning PT) starts and we did god noes how many cuts and some crazy ones like the one-legged suburi. After dat, a lot of us were shagged(and its only the first training in the camp) but hell. After breakfast we learnt some katas and stuff and now, waiting for the next training after we ate lunch…

Sweet 18 and a new beginning(Pangya!)

HAPPY B’DAY TO ME! HAPPY B’DAY TO ME! HAPPY B’DAY TO SUSU…eh, salah salah. I meant NASU X_X lol, turned 18 on a day where people become fools. I went to Breeks at harbour front with my family for lunch today. Food was kinda good and everything but their service…I’ll give them a big, fat ‘F’. ‘F’ for FAIL!! It was the most horrible service i have EVER experienced. Even hawker centres provide better services(in some ways). First things first, they only serve the drinks after the food. I mean like, what the hell. i wasn’t paticularly affected but the poor English woman eating with her friend next to us was practically in need of water after a few bites. Next thing, they are very, VERY slow in everything. Seriously…Thirdly, they have no initiative.I can go on and on but…nah. Lol, thanks to everyone who wish me a Happy B’day. Oh yea!!! One more thing. There’s a new online game called PangYa. Actually not new cause i saw the game in thailand when i went for the jamboree. So there! Any1 wanna play just look for me…PrismaSaix.
