Motorola Mascot

While I was on my way to work, I saw a very familiar face in Suntec City. Anyone knows the name of this err…creature?

[狼と香辛料] Spice & Wolf

Craft Lawrence, a 25 year old peddler, travels from town to town selling and buying various things to make a living during a period similar to Europe in the Middle Ages. One night, when he stopped at the town of Pasroe, he finds a 250 year old pagan wolf deity girl named Horo in his wagon. She appears to be that of a 15 year old girl, except that she has wolf tail and a pair of wolf ears. She introduces herself as the town’s goddess of harvest, who has kept the town blessed with good harvests of wheat for many years. Despite having the responsibility to watch over the town, she wants to go back to her homeland in the north called Yoitsu as she believes the people have already forsaken her and that she is the only one who is keeping her end of teh bargain, which is to maintain the good harvests. She finally manages to get out of the village by making a deal with Lawrence to take her with him. As they travel, her wisdom helps increase his profits, but at the same time, her true nature draws unwanted attention from the church.

The anime seems promising although I wouldn’t watch it in the open as there’s some nudity (like in Love Hina i suppose except for the fact Horo is more…open?) It makes ‘perfect’ sense though as Horo is a wolf and wolf, well, don’t wear clothes in their wolf form? Lol. There’s only two episodes so far but its rather interesting to see the development between Lawrence and Horo.

All’s cool at first until reality hit them (at the end of Episode 2) because at the end of the day, Lawrence is a human whereas Horo is a wolf. Wolves normally attack humans when they venture into their territory. Furthermore, both of them had some kind of ugly past with the other party (I’m sure about Lawrence but not about Horo though) Let see how it goes in Episode 3.

Today’s finale is the Spice and Wolf ending! ["Ringo Hiyori (リンゴ日和)" by Rocky Chack] I find it rather cute and it has a totally different atmosphere compared to the opening. Lyrics are located below the video. Enjoy~

Seven apples of the witch’s tree, with seven seeds to plant inside of me
In spring time i grew a magic song
Then skipping along, i sang the song to everyone
I look at the world through apple eyes, and cut myself a slice of sunshine pie
I danced with the peanuts for the flies, till someone had told me to say hello for every goodbye
Saw some sugar stars, i’ll put them in a jar
And we’ll wish around the world, oh we’ll wish around the world
I’m a little wolf inside a cart
You say, and off i go from June to May
Oh we’ll wish around the world, Let’s wish around the world

Syoban – Hardest game ever??

This is only level one! There’s a total of 4 levels to complete altogether. You’ll be a fool if you think this is any old Mario game. Well, level 1 might be a little easier since you have already seen the traps on the video but you’ll make the mistakes as they did in one way or another. Anyone game for it?

Life as it is…

No internet…no phone…it’s the same old poverty cycle yet again. Guess that by the time i get my new com, projects will be over. Heck, I think I’ll graduate by then. My pay from December is not even sufficient for a decent working ‘modern’ computer as I missed two days worth of work. Part of the pay will be going to my new shinai and probably my handphone bill as well

I’ve been going around to people’s home as of this semester to do all my projects. My computer can’t support the programs used for the projects so it’s only natural that I looked for alternate sources. Thanks to my friends who are ever so patient with having me at their home. There’s only about 2 weeks left so I hope you guy’s can bear with it a little longer =P

This to those people who has always been ranting to me. Just this once, shut the hell up and try to solve your own problems. I’m only human and there’s only so much I can handle. I have a life too and my own problems to face. Even if I tend to use the understated style of communication doesn’t mean my life is a bunch of roses or I’m lazy. Yes, I am lazy but if any of you don’t know the situation I’m in I’ll appreciate if you don’t make any ‘wise’ comments about me. Thank You

What Nasution Means

What Nasution Means

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.
You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.
You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

You are usually the best at everything … you strive for perfection.
You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.
You have the classic “Type A” personality.

You are the total package – suave, sexy, smart, and strong.
You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.
You don’t always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don’t have as much going for them as you do.

You are a very lucky person. Things just always seem to go your way.
And because you’re so lucky, you don’t really have a lot of worries. You just hope for the best in life.
You’re sometimes a little guilty of being greedy. Spread your luck around a little to people who need it.

You are a seeker. You often find yourself restless – and you have a lot of questions about life.
You tend to travel often, to fairly random locations. You’re most comfortable when you’re far away from home.
You are quite passionate and easily tempted. Your impulses sometimes get you into trouble.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It’s easy to get you excited… which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don’t stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are well rounded, with a complete perspective on life.
You are solid and dependable. You are loyal, and people can count on you.
At times, you can be a bit too serious. You tend to put too much pressure on yourself.

Happy New Year!

A Happy New Year to everyone. Sorry for the lack of updates because I had camp last week. Hmm, I don’t really celebrate New Year’s but one particular one I will never forget was during Jamboree. Dancing and singing, we’re basically having fun there while counting down to New Year’s. Haha, but that was two years ago (i think it’s three now =/) Well, 2008 is here so let’s all ‘ganbatte’ together for this year aye!
