Library War

In the year 2019, the explosion of information and misinformation became a direct threat to society. In a daring decision, it was decided to create a new government agency dedicated solely to information management. Now some thirty years later, the government still monitors and controls information, suppressing anything they find undesirable, but standing against their abuses of power are the libraries, with their special agents called ‘the book soldiers.’
Based on a light novel series by Arikawa Hiro, illustrated by Adabana Sukumo.
This is another good example of don’t judge a
book for its cover. Sure, a lot may find it stupid with the idea of people taking up arms to fight one another over things such as books. Some even got turn off by the plot summary, stating it as ‘nonsensical’ or ’seems like a waste of time’. Contrary to that belief, I’ll say that this anime is pretty darn good (although it’s a one-sided comment from me). However, those who watch till the end will definitely agree with me.
The starting episode might not make a great impact on you but as the story goes on, it gets more and more interesting. There’s some action, plenty of comedy and light romance in this ani
me. They somehow just fit together nicely. Quality-wise, the animation is top-notched.
Another interesting case is regarding both the main male and female protagonists. Well, to put it simply, thefemale protagonist is taller than the male and their relationship is kinda funny at times but quite touching at the later part of the show. No, touching doesn’t mean the boyfriend-girlfriend thing but…oh well, just watch the show and you will know.
PangyaSEA to Albatross 18
After much persuasion from Jasmine, i gave Albatross 18 a try. Wasn’t really considering to play it after hearing the ill-fated news regarding PangyaSEA. I was really reluctant to start over. I was already a senior C (although it stagnated at that level for over a year because it got too boring as there weren’ any real updates), I have the characters that I wanted in that season and my records pretty good. Furthermore at that period, my hio’s were like increasing and I just bought Arin.
Lol, for those who don’t know what A18 is, it is an online golf game. PangyaSEA is the south-east asia counterpart of A18. First saw the Thailand version of the game in, well, Thailand. I though it looks cool and when asiasoft announced that it was relasing the SEA version, I was ecstatic. I researched a little and made up my mind to work towards getting the character Kooh and the caddie Luna.

Oh well, after all that they’re just gonna be deleted. Kooh was obtained using pangs, the in-game currency, but Luna on the other hand costs me 12 bucks. Now its nearly impossible to get Luna in A18 unless one gets it using paypal or something as the only way to get her is by using cash. I’ll save up for Kooh for another time.
I think I ranted too much but on a brighter note, A18 is already in Season 3 (PangyaSEA will forever be stuck at Season 2) New stuff in Season 3 includes the long awaited new character, Kaz, two new maps, Ice Spa and Deep Inferno and the PSQ system, which enables you to move your character around as though you in an mmorpg plus the abiltiy to set up shops to sell your items to other players. For those who are interested, here’s the info on Kaz.
Heroes would recount of a boy who the Demon King boasted as
the one who would reign next, promising to bring a new dynasty
of evil to Pangya Island.
However, Kaz’s eyes are full of a sadness for a lost memory, not of the
dark evil seemingly destined for him…
