4th Book Out!
I now officially declared SOC to be a chore! Other than that, I have a 16km route march tomorrow and IPPT the following Friday. Not to mention the SOC lessons in between and god noes what other stuff we have. 2 more weeks left so I suppose we can endure a little bit more *laughs* Pretty short post I know but I’ll post a good one after my POP.
3rd Book Out!
Just finished my SIT test this week. With that, all of our high-key events have officially ended. SIT test was kind of alright, especially after going through the field camp. The gruelling part of it was that we had to do a 12km route march before it ( I wonder how we will be able to survive the 24km one) As per usual, it rained during the event as well. We were supposed to book out on a Thursday like they promised but yet again, that didn’t happen and we book out on a Friday. Guess we’ll never see our Thursday book out. Oh well, only 3 more book outs left until our POP.
Book Out!
I’m finally out! Can you imagine having 2 confinement weeks in a row? It is pure hell especially if you are not prepared. Take the 3rd week for example. Just imagine coming back from your first book out, bringing just enough stuff to last you a week and they suddenly tell you on the next day “Your field camp is this week”. Everyone was cursing in their minds I tell you. However, their first reaction was “Sheet, not enough underwear…” Due to the rules and regulations, we’re not suppose to blog any of the activities related to NS. So all I can say is field camp was tiring and muddy. Yes, muddy. It practically rained for the whole of the 6 days when we were outfield. So for those who complained that it rained on one of the days in their field camp, just zip it! Haha, if you want to know more just ask me in person. Hand grenade throw and live firing was fun though. Plus, the 5-tonner are always cool to ride on.
